Words from our guests

Chaihut's falafel are definitely among the five best I've ever eaten. The bowl was really fresh and well seasoned, too. I'll definitely order again.

Planning & booking
What kinds of events can I book Chaihut for?
Company celebrations, weddings, birthdays, festivals, markets, private celebrations and community events. We check whether our trailer is suitable for your date and venue before confirming arrangements.
Where does Chaihut offer event catering?
Our mobile street food catering operates in Münster and the surrounding Münsterland area. Tell us your venue when you enquire so we can check travel and on-site logistics.
How do I request catering?
Use our enquiry form to share your event date, venue, approximate guest count, service times and preferences. We'll review what's possible and discuss the details. You can also contact us by email.
info@chaihut.deHow far in advance should I contact you?
As soon as you know the date and approximate guest count is best. You can also ask at short notice. Whether we can take on your event depends on availability and the setup required.
How many guests can you cater for?
That depends on the menu, service window and event format. Share your estimated guest count and we'll discuss a practical setup for your plans.
How much does Chaihut catering cost?
Costs depend on guest numbers, food and drinks, service duration, location and technical requirements. We discuss a tailored quote based on your event details before agreeing on a booking.
Can I enquire about recurring team lunches?
Yes, companies and clubs can enquire about regular team lunches. We'll review whether the frequency, venue, guest count and menu work operationally.
Food & drinks
What food and drinks does Chaihut offer?
Depending on the event, options may include falafel bowls, falafel, cheesesteaks, fries, Karak Chai, cacao, coffee and other drinks. Not every item is available at every event; we'll agree on the selection beforehand.
Can I book only drinks or only street food?
You can enquire about either option separately, such as a chai and cacao bar or street food alone. We'll check whether it suits your date, location and event size.
Do you offer vegetarian and vegan catering?
Yes, we offer vegetarian and vegan choices, including falafel dishes. If you'd like a completely plant-based menu, mention this in your enquiry and we'll check what we can put together.
Can you accommodate allergies and intolerances?
Please tell us about important allergies and intolerances as early as possible. We'll discuss ingredients and possible adjustments beforehand. We cannot make a blanket guarantee of entirely allergen-free preparation.
Can we customise the food and drink selection?
Yes. Tell us which dishes, drinks and dietary preferences matter to you, and we'll review a suitable selection for your occasion, guest count and schedule.
At your venue
What does the Chaihut trailer need on site?
We need a suitable, accessible parking area with space for the trailer and serving window. Electrical requirements depend on the equipment used. We'll confirm the space, power and access needs for your specific event.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Our trailer is covered, so light rain doesn't automatically rule out service. In high winds, severe weather or unsafe conditions, we'll discuss whether safe operation is possible.
How do setup and serving times work?
That depends on the venue, food and drinks, guest count and desired service window. We agree on arrival, setup and serving times ahead of your event.
